I remember my first Hypnotherapy session I went to. I was a little nervous and didn’t know what to expect. If this is your first-time experiencing hypnotherapy, you’re in good hands. My #1 goal is to help you feel comfortable so you can experience a peaceful, productive session at your pace. This is your time!
The first part of the session will be spent talking about your issue and discovering the underlying emotions and beliefs attached to it. The first step to achieving a well balanced mind is discovering awareness in who we are, and what we want to accomplish. After discussing your symptoms, we’ll dive into your specific goals and where you want your life to look like. We do this so I can have a clear understanding of what you want for your life and how we can use this visualization within your hypnotic session. You will go into hypnosis in your first session.
Depending on your issue, we may first start with some NLP techniques before you go into hypnosis so we can ensure we are getting at the problem right away. However, the first session will always conclude with a 25-30 min hypnotic session. This hypnotic session will be recorded with music so you can walk away with a personalized recording to listen to everyday to help these suggestions instill in your subconscious mind. Most first-time sessions last two hours.
Once we are finished and waking suggestions are concluded, you will feel rested, refreshed, and will remember the entire session. You’ll also have a newfound clarity and direction for your life.
Shannon will also make recommendations on next steps to create the long lasting change you’ve been looking for.

Hypnosis is a natural state of mind where you slip into deeper alpha and theta brain waves. When you’re in a deeper brain wave state you’re more responsive to working through blocks.
During a hypnotic session, you’ll feel a sense of deep relaxation but your mind will be fully present and alert through the entire session. In fact, you slip in and out of hypnosis every day when you’re daydreaming, waking up from a deep sleep, or even driving in your car.

Hypnotherapy focuses on healing the mind by understanding your underlying beliefs, emotions, and the true core of the problem. Once we discover these things about ourselves then change can truly occur.

No, you can never do or say anything you don’t want to do. In hypnosis your conscious and subconscious mind are present together.

Although some problems can be solved within 1 session. It’s recommended that most people complete 3-5 sessions to ensure that behavior change sticks.
