Goal Setting
Are you excited for 2020? It’s a whole new decade and there’s so much to look forward to.
Ask yourself, what have you accomplished in the last 10 years? Take a moment to pat yourself on the back and admire everything that you have accomplished.
Bill Gates always says, “most people overestimate what they can do in a year and underestimate what they can do in 10 years.”
If we don’t set goals, how will we know what we’ve accomplished and where we have fallen short? Let’s make the theme of 2020 “BE INTENTIONAL.” If you’re intentional, do you feel that you might have a better chance of losing weight, getting the job of your dreams, or attracting the man or woman of your dreams?
Now, some of you might be rolling your eyes at me when I tell you that you must write your goals down for them to actually exist. When you write something down, you are improving your focus. Imagine that you are thinking of your goal but it’s just bouncing around your brain every now and then. If it’s just appearing and disappearing when life gets in the way, how much energy would you put towards it unless you intentionally write it down, do self check-ins, and redirect as needed.
Remember, a goal not written down is just a wish.
I want 2020 to be your best year yet. I want you to accomplish things that you never thought were possible. You work hard and YOU DESERVE THIS. Human beings, for whatever reason, think they don’t deserve happiness, but that isn’t true for this tribe.
I recently held a Vision Board Workshop last January 11th at Nona310 in Lake Nona. In the workshop, we determined our goals, built a vision board, and then set a tangible 2020 goal to get there.
This workshop is just one of the many workshops I’m planning to have for this year. I hope you can join us next time. Make sure to stay tuned because I’m planning an online workshop sometime in Q1 of 2020.
LIv Well,
