How to Build Self-Confidence
Your self belief is the most important key component to reaching your goals...I remember my first time giving a speech in front of a classroom. My palms were sweaty, my voice was shaky, and I asked myself... "how am I going to get through this?" I didn't believe I could do it.
Bottom line is if you feel you can't do something, your chances of achieving your goal is much lower. Not only that, if you act more confident in your physiology and tone of voice, you are telling your brain that you're safe and everything is okay.
Are you trying to lose weight?
Did you start a vegetarian diet?
Are you trying to get a promotion or a raise?
Are you trying to be more confident on dates?
Try these tips to boost your self confidence and to appear confident to those aroundyou.
Uncover why you aren't confident in a particular area. Do inner work and self reflection by doing what works best for you. This could include getting a coach, quiet reflection in meditation,
Understand your unique strengths. You are put on this earth for a purpose. Are you unsure what it is? Ask the people around you!
Keep the promises you've made to yourself. Every time you make a commitment to yourself and you don't follow through with it, your inner critic is doing summersaults shouting, "I told you so!"
“The more you commit to doing the inner work, the better you’ll feel.”
